Organised by Bellenden Road's MOCA London the Casualties Union presents FETE WORSE THAN DEATH. Starts 1pm at Bellenden junction with Avondale Rise with the INJURY FACE PAINTING TOUR incorporating a series of staged incidents at various shops along the road. Then take a lesson in how to authentically portray casualty victims and then take part in the competitions including PAINFUL FACE PULLING MATCH, LIMPING BOUT and GUESS THE ACCIDENT. LEARN SOMETHING NEW. Teachers from Southwark Adult Learning will be hovering outside the bookshop ready to talk to you about the multitude of short courses available at the Thomas Calton Centre just up Choumert Road. Kathryn, Jan and Mali teach health & fitness, upholstery & soft furnishing and wood carving and will have some student work on display too. VISIT CHOUMERT SQUARE. The green fingered denizens of the world famous Choumert Square once again open their gardens to the public. For just a few quid have a nosy around one of the prettiest places in Peckham. There are always plenty of games and prizes and stalls and tasty comestibles on offer.
